So having been bombarded by offers for a home for the bendy snakes via the reptile forum I hang out on, I drove down to Northamptonshire today to drop them off in their new home. With them went dear Tyson; I'm going to miss him, but he deserves a really good pet home, where he'll be pampered and spoilt. I want to concentrate on breeding the corns, and with him being a common he doesn't fit in with those plans. ( Read more... )

Albino bulls come home tomorrow! So far, top of the list for names are Bandit and Boxer; the lady bull snake who is currently in with Zico is called Bandita! Thus far I haven't seen him doing the business, but they're snuggled up under his hide box so we shall see.

And now i'm going to try beating some sense out of some fic, so I'll see y'all later!

I need a name.

I need a name for my mandarin ratsnake.

To help those of you in a naming mood, he is definitely a he, and his species (Euprepiophis mandarinus) comes from mainland China as far as Vietnam, Taiwan and all that sort of Indo-Chinese area, almost up as far as Japan (where their ecological niche is taken by the Japanese forest ratsnake, another lovely little species).

He looks like this:

-- only he's a little more grey, not quite as bright. (Pretty though, huh?)

Oh, and he's a good eater, although a shy little man. Needs a good name. ;)
