Well, i have my usual post-travel virus kicking my ass today. Feels like I can't get enough fluids into me, and dammit I am tired. Back on nights tomorrow, whoop-de-fricking-do.

Anyway. Despite achy joints and all the fun stuff that comes after travelling amidst a lot of grubby strangers, I have set up a new community. Yay me!

It's somewhere to archive all my fics that feature my OC, the renegade Magus Yoz. Although most of them are available on Rockfic - and so far, two of them are available as honest-to-god books via Rockfic Press - in the future there will be more material with her in that doesn't have musicians, so it's somewhere to just gather it all together in one place.

It can be found at damned_magus - so far I've got two fics up, the rewritten SpellBound and Razorblade Sigh. I'll be putting both No World Order and Gardens Of The Sinner up when I feel up to it!

Plus another couple of little pieces I've written with her, including one set in the world of duffnstuff's fabulous Kings Of Fools. (Which if you haven't read you really, really should!)

So far it's an open comm, although I may at some point decide to make all the stories members-only. Whatever the case, if you like my writing - and especially if you like my Magus! - then trot along there and friend it, watch it, enjoy it!

(Oh, and btw - I've got a full trip report from the Hamburg jaunt on my laptop, I just have to get off my lazy ass and cross post it to here!)

See, I was having this discussion with arrys_girlie earlier - about Yoz. You see, the very first full-length story with her in it (which began life as a Def Leppard bandfic) has been re-written as a original novel, the band replaced by OCs.

There was - is - a second novel in the works featuring these OCs. Trouble is, after writing the Tattoos And Alibis trilogy (Razorblade Sigh, No World Order and Gardens Of The Sinner, the first two of which are available on Rockfic Press now and the third, well, will be eventually!) I really don't want to carry that novel on.

Because the events in the trilogy negate a lot of what happens to the character in that second novel, but it doesn't change the fact that she talks about a lot of her history. There's a lot of character development stuff and (though I say so myself) really rather good writing.

So. Since I'm not sure what to do with it at the moment, I thought I'd post some of the pieces I'm particularly fond of here. What with it being a quiet night and all.

So, enjoy. I'll put them all under cuts so they don't clutter up your flist! Let me know if they spark a reaction, you like them, or you just think I should think of something more productive to do with them...
