Just... I dunno, really. Spaced out. Tired, but not tired. Kind of wandering around the place in a daze.

Managed to complete the beta on mayqueen517's ficlet. I hope she doesn't hate me. She's got real promise, and a whole bagload of enthusiasm - and guts. I'm fretting now. I hate upsetting people. Maybe I'm too bloody enthusiastic for my own good.

*Wanders around for a bit*

I'll be better tomorrow. I hope.

I'm absolutely certain that you don't have any reason to fret. If she's as enthusiastic as you say, she'll appreciate each and every comment. What would we do without our betas, huh?

Don't worry hon. I'm sure she'll appreciate your being her beta, you have just the right amount of 'fix this, damnit!' and 'you're doing a really good job!' to be a great beta. Hell, you made me a better writer and didn't traumatize me!

I'm sure maryqueen517 [Queenie, I'm guessing?] will be glad for an honest, serious beta. If she only wanted to hear "It's great! Don't change a word" she wouldn't have sent it over, right? More than likely she values your opinion and, even if a few things might upset her a bit, she knows it's not a personal attack, and will take it as part of a good beta.

Andy, doll...I am overjoyed at the way you have presented the editing work. I mean honestly, I'm glad you pointed out things that I would have seen myself upon reading over it.

I have promise? *grins shyly* why thank you Andy. That means alot, and believe me...I need the amount of 'do this better' to...well..you know...do it better LOL.
