OK, I knew this would happen.

I have the awesomest job in the world, OK?

WHEN I CAN ACTUALLY DO IT!

I have filled, in a little over a month, four A4 sketch books. Every page. And that's not counting the porn one I have at home.

I want to WORK, dammit! Drawing for eight hours a day is all very nice, kthx, but I want to be working. I can do it, I know I can do it, so why isn't it happening? Perhaps Chris is afraid of overconfidence? Maybe he thinks the wait will do me good? Maybe he doesn't hink I'm as good as he's previously said?

*Chews fingers*

So not only am I bored and frustrated, I'm paranoid too. This is not a good thing.

I know it'll pass, but right now? I am one very frustrated carrot indeed.



In other news, MySpace is still a pile of poo.

Yes, the waiting is the worst thing. I know this all too well. Especially when it comes to dating. My mom tells me it over and over, "just be patient and you will find someone." Too bad she's been saying that for the last 15+ years. *sighs*

Why not ask Chris? Explain to him your frustration and ask him if there's something you need to be doing that you're not? From how you've spoken about him, he seems to be a good guy and I'm pretty sure he has confidence in you or he wouldn't have hired you. You can make yourself crazy with what ifs (I know, I do it to myself all the time), and I know how scary it is because you ask yourself if you really want to know the answer. Paranoia is one hard-assed bitch.

But I think you're fine! You DO have talent and I think you've done far more in your time there than most apprentices do in the same length of time.

And don't chew TOO hard on those fingers, you need them to work! And type!

I can understand frustration, believe me. Ask your boss, and try (easier said than done, I know) to not let the frustration get to you.
