Work was hell last night, but Slay earned himself big brownie points for bringing me chinese food and sitting with me in the vets office helping me eat it. And then making me tea. And listening to me complain.
When he gets it right, he gets it RIGHT.
Been to mum's today, which was more fun than I expected. Also had the added delight of seeing THE MOST GINORMOUS WILD BROWN RAT toddle past me as I was having a smoke in the doorway of the conservatory (more of a lean-to really, but we call it a conservatory). He strolled past (you better believe it was a he, the evidence was bulging under his tail for all to see), paused, looked up at me - this beast is about a foot away from the toe of my socks - sniffed the air, then strolled off. Bold as brass!

Got some glittery eyeliner and black nail polish from my sister in law, and several tins of chocolate biscuits from the other relatives. Choc biccies FTW!
Annnnd now I need to go to work. *Sigh*
