Arthur C Clarke is dead.
I read a book called Islands In The Sky when I was eight years old. (I was allowed to raid the 'big kids' reading book shelf!)
It left me with a wonder and a fascination for science fiction and fantasy that has never left me.
I'm going to miss him. Rest in peace, Arthur.
