You are not a failure, it's a just bad timing on their part. They should have known from the beginning if there was enough work to be done. I mean it's not like this place is a new or anything. It's stupidity on Jon's part if nothing else.

You're not a failure--it's not as if you were responsible for drumming up business or anything like that. Hopefully people will flock to the studio in the new year when they've got Christmas money to spend or make it their New Years resolution to have a tattoo done.

For what it is worth my dear...

I was laid off 19 months ago.

I was numb for a week.

Went batshit for 3 weeks.

Scrambled for a month looking to continue in the same profession.

Realized it was time to put up or shut up.

Started doing music full time.

I have never been happier than I am now.

I'm a broke sonofabitch... But I have never been happier career wise.

And the money will come in time, I know this...

So...

I've been there.

It sucks.

But it can be for the better, you just never know.

Be strong.
