So today is Nurse's birthday. She's 19. And her piece of shit boyfriend wasn't even going to take her out for a drink - so Chris, Da Boss, thought that we should take her down the social club for a few drinks.
Good idea.
He had somewhere to be this evening, so it was only for an hour or so. Oh good, I thought, I can whizz round, have a couple of cokes, go home.
Wrong.
Two pints of lager and three - THREE - shots of Aftershock later my lips have gone numb. That man can get me bladdered faster than anyone alive, I swear.
I think I'm going to give up drinking altogether. Really. The trick is to get him to stop buying it for me....
