I have a headache that will not go away. I had it all day yesterday. It woke me up several times last night. It's been blinding me all day.

Bastard thing.

Painkillers are taking the edge off it, though. I was supposed to be going out tonight with the head nurse and G__, the new vet, but haven't gone (obviously, because I'm here posting this) due to the fact that it feels like I have a stake through my head, just on the right hand side above my eye. (It's what's known as a cluster headache, they're related to migraines apparently. It bloody hurts, is all I know.)

So. Hang out on the 'net a bit, curl up and sleep a bit. Hopefully that'll kill it.

I've never had a cluster headache as far as I know, but I've had migraines and they are enough to make Lemmy cry like a little bitch. You have my sympathy. Truly. I hope you feel better very, very soon.

"Cluster headache" is what it's called? So, what happens when you have one that won't fucking stop? I've had one for about... oh... going on 6 months now. Regular pain relievers don't touch it, and I'm not too keen on dipping into my dad's codeine stash.

I get those kind of headaches. They're a bitch, especially when you go to bed with one AND wake up with it again. Ugh.
