Ah, one of my favourite movies (gotta get it on DVD sometime) is Ferris Buellers Day Off. Story of a serial slacker and his friends who steal a car and get into awful trouble one day. Very, very, very eighties....
Anyway. The 'Anybody? Bueller?' is a quote from that - I think it's one of the high school teachers asking about something. Something bad. So, anyhoo, I tend to use it for one of those there-really-isn't-an-answer questions! Been a while since I've seen the movie.
I recall that movie! The German title was "Ferris macht blau" -> "Ferris skips school", so they embezzled his last name, lol.
That one scene when he tries to rewind the car's milage display and the car goes crashing through the window (? Why is there a window in the garage? Hmm...)(anyways, where was I? Ah ja:), I'll never forget that. I was so sorry about the car. Ah, fond 80s memories. :)
I ask that same question whenever we drive up the road that leads to our road. Just beyond the house with the 7-foot cross in the big block of windows is another house with a big block of windows, like you'd expect in a living room, but no! They're on a garage! All these windows, looking right into the garage! So strange.
