The interview meme, gacked from
rockfic.
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions of a very intimate and creepily personal nature. Or not so creepy/personal.
3. You WILL update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
1. Dirk or Harry?
Holy shit, start with a difficult one why don't you?
*Thinks* Erk. OK, if we're talking relationships? (NEVER AGAIN, but never mind that for a moment.) Harry. One night stand? Dirk. Although...
Ye gods, honestly? I have no fucking idea. I love 'em all. And of course, I'd always be thinking that they could do so much better....
2. What is one thing about you that you think the people who know you ought to know, but that most don't seem to "get".
The fact that when I do something I do it heart and soul. I appear to be incapable of half measures; this means that things really, really matter to me, when they probably shouldn't.
3. If you could instantly master one skill you know nothing about now, what would it be and why?
Christ. Er. Um. Nothing at all? The trouble is there's so many things I know a little bit about - OK, hangliding. Honestly. I think that must be the closest thing to actually flying under your own steam that there is - and it's one of the few forms of flying I've never tried.
4. What is something all prospective married couples should think about, but you suspect that most don’t?
How much time can change people. And how the past can affect you - your relationship with your parents, for instance.
5. What is the best thing about being you?
Ha. Most of the time I would say there isn't a best thing - but honestly, I'd have to say it's my ability to write something that, when I read it back, I think - blimey, did *I* write that? Oh, and the fact that I really don't care what colour, creed, sexual orientation (etc etc etc) you are - acceptance seems to come naturally. I like that.
*Phew*, they were tough!
