And yes, I am avoiding doing the Steve Clark bio because the Phil one took me bloody ages and I'm still not happy with it. (kraftpistole, don't you dare apologise! I agreed to do it and I will. I'm just putzing around putting it off.)

Mind you, any brief mooch of the 'net looking for info on the man turns up the nutters. And oh my lord, are they nutty... what is it about dead rock stars? Maybe because they can't look deep into a loving fan's eyes and say: "You're barking mad, what are you? Get away from me. Now."

Dead guys don't say no...?

I think out of all the dead rocker fans that are the most insane have to be the Steve fans. I don't even think Hendrix or Morrison has inspired this level of creepyness. *shudders at the thought*
