Oh jeez - er, let me think. The first album of theirs I became aware of through listening to the Friday Rock Show (through headphones late at night, ah, memories!) would have been 'Piece Of Mind'. So, I suppose, 1984-ish?

Through Helloween - Lia told me about Gamma Ray's existence when I asked her what Kai was up to these days, she sent me a couple of albums and kerblammo, SOLD! (The crush on Dirk came rather later.)

'Spooks In The Attic'. It's on the 'Superheroes' EP and I love it to little green pieces!

-How many times have you seen #9 live?

Just once so far! And got on their DVD, too. Been into them for years, but so far only managed to see them once. Got tickets to see them again in May, though.

OMG, too many to list! Although I guess, if pressed to just one...'Tailgunner' has been recently knocked off the top spot by 'The Longest Day' from the new album. That made me cry when I saw it live...

Through hearing 'Master Of Puppets' played incessantly around the hostel when I was an engineering apprentice, aged 18!
