23 (I think)
2. When did you get your first tattoo?
My very first in 1998, when I was 27. But all the big stuff got started in March 2005!
3. What was your first tattoo?
A killer whale jumping out of the water, on my left upper arm. It was very very small!
4. Which tattoo is closest to your heart?
Literally, it would be the No Prayer For The Dying Eddie on the left side of my chest. Figuratively it would be the Stranger In A Strange Land on my right upper arm. The first 'biggie' I had, and still my favourite.
5. Do you have a matching tattoo with someone?
Fuck no!
6. Do you have a tattoo that someone messed up?
Yup, me! The very first one I ever did, on my left thigh. It's, er, not my best work...!
8. What was the most painful tattoo you received?
The pumpkins under my upper arms, near my armpit. Holy fuck that hurt.
9. Have you ever cried during a tattoo?
No.
10. Do you have a tattoo that you constantly have to explain?
I usually have to explain the pumpkins. People go 'why pumpkins?' and I have to go into the long-ass explanation about Helloween. One day I'm just going to say 'why not pumpkins?'
11. Have you ever gotten an infection from a tattoo?
No, but I have had infections get into one afterwards. Not the pleasantest experience ever, I can assure you.
12. What is the longest session you've ever sat straight?
Four hours.
13. What is the biggest tattoo that you have and how long did it take?
The biggest one 9area wise) would be the Brave New World Eddie across the top of my back. That actually didn't take long - about two and a half hours, if I remember right - because there's very little line work involved. It's all smoke and shading.
14. Have you ever gotten a tattoo of something just because it was funny or shock?
Nope.
15. Do you have any unfinished projects on you right now?
Fuck yeah! Apart from the fact that until my whole body is inked it won't be 'finished', there's the pumpkins under my right arm that need colouring (yes I'm avoiding having it done, sue me), and I'm desperate to get my sleeves finished. And my back. And make a start on the rest of me....
16. Has anyone (i.e. parents or girlfriend/boyfriend) gotten pissed over a tattoo you got?
My parents hate my artwork. Which is to be expected, I guess!
17. Do you have any tattoos in places that most people don't get to see unless they see you naked?
Yes, because I don't show my horrid thighs to many people!
18. Do you have any people tattooed on you?
That would depend on whether you count Eddie and Fangface as 'real'! But human beans? Nope, not a one. And unless I was to get access to someone like Tom Renshaw, that's the way it's staying.
19. Are you worried about what your tattoos will look like when you’re old?
Fuck no! Like anyone is going to give a fuck about my skin if I live that long?
20. Do you regret having gotten any of your tattoos?
No! Not a one of them. And I've chosen the ones I have with that in mind - they're all markers on the road of life, and what would be the point of regretting that?
21. Would you consider ever getting any of your tattoos removed?
NO. Never.
22. What are you going to get for your next tattoo?
The dragons on my forearms, which will mean that the rest of my sleeves can be filled in around them. By god I hate gaps. Blank skin sucks.
23. Do you think members of the opposite sex with alot of tattoo's are hot?
Depends on the ink. But yeah, I do love to see a good covering!
24. Are you unfortunate enough to have an armband tattoo?
*Bleargh* No!
