Challenge Drabbles!

Smoke And Mirrors
Kai tasted like smoke.
As a non-smoker, Hansi found the taste repugnant and irresistable all at the same time; Kai was forbidden, something he’d been warned about time and again. An addiction and bad habit all rolled into one. Kai was bad for him.
Softness of thin lips against his throat made him smile. From the moment they’d met he knew this would happen; Kai’s reputation and his own curiosity had made it inevitable that they would tumble into bed, the older man’s shine highlighting Hansi’s subtle darkness.
He kissed the light, and tried not to think of withdrawal.
Victory
His forefathers conquered the world with swords; his battlefield was smaller, and he ruled the screaming hordes with the force of his voice and his personality, not his blade. His comrades battled beside him, fake blood and furs and talent drawing devotion from the crowds, the music owning their hearts and minds in a way that his ancestors could never imagine.
Warlord roared his triumph, and the crowd roared back.
Later, he would find reward in the long fingers and the passion of the slight elf by his side; the violin never cried as sweetly as Olli when conquered.
Victory.
