It's all her fault. See, rdyfrde updated the Gamma Ray stash, and some of the pictures of Dirk have made me squee and fall over. So, although most of you could give a rat's ass about my crush, I thought I'd share a few of my faves from the update:

And in another thud-tastic moment, arrys_girlie has started posting the next instalment of the High Seas Adventures, which is the individual ship story about the Helloween. And OHHHHHHHHH mygod it is good. I'm squealing my head off about it every time I look at my flist. ;)

Names.

I need a name.

I need a name for my mandarin ratsnake.

To help those of you in a naming mood, he is definitely a he, and his species (Euprepiophis mandarinus) comes from mainland China as far as Vietnam, Taiwan and all that sort of Indo-Chinese area, almost up as far as Japan (where their ecological niche is taken by the Japanese forest ratsnake, another lovely little species).

He looks like this:

Oh, and he's a good eater, although a shy little man. Needs a good name. ;)
