Picspam of the animals
First, my Christmas lunch:

...ok, you can stop yelling at me now. That animal up there was bought as a fertile egg off ebay, which I passed to Chris who incubated it in his incubator. Out of eight eggs two hatched. One gosling was killed by a fox (IN BROAD DAYLIGHT SO STICK THAT IN YOUR PIPES AND SMOKE IT, FOX-HUGGERS only hunt after dark my arse) and one, that one, was destined to be fattened up and eaten.
However.
As my dear boss spoiled it stupid after the fox attack, it has become ridiculously tame. It runs up to you wanting a cuddle and wants to sit in your lap. Chris has called it 'Edmund'. I told him it didn't matter what he called it, I was still going to wring its neck at Christmas.
He caved, and has offered me two nice fat white geese for Christmas in exchange for Edmund's life ;)
Yes, I agreed! Good lord. And thus did Edmund twice escape death within his first month of life....

How cute is this? It's a flat rock scorpion. They came in a wee bit smaller than we anticipated when we ordered them. I'm not much for scorpions, but this one amused the hell out of me. :)

Finally got a couple of decent shots of Barclay!

She's great, and the little one in the background is one of the three I bought hoping that at least one would be male. Which they aren't. Humbug.

Say hello to Mei-mei, the Mandarin rat snake I bought back in March. Lovely, isn't she?

Speaking of n00bs, this is Long the sand boa. I picked him up today. He (when he's a little bigger, of course!) will be mate for Smiler The Sandbitch, my other 08 Kenyan sand boa.

These are Spectre's first clutch hatching out. Most of them are feeding well, and are up for sale already.

The seven eggs on the right are Spectre's second clutch. They have about 18 days to go before they hatch - can't wait! The others are Lucy's, laid on the same day. Be interesting to see what comes of it; from that first hatch it looks like Spectre carries the motley gene, so we shall see what we shall see.
AND FINALLY
My baby boy is getting big - look, he's had his first pigeon!

So there y'are. ;)
