We're so close now!

Only one left! Hurrah. Chances are it'll be a right ol' bastard, but what the fuck. Last night was hellish; every bed and towel in the place had been used, all the theatre kits, and nobody had had chance to make up the kits for today. Add to that three dogs and two cats and I was one busy bunny last night!

Still. Only one left.

Oh, and dogologist? Why are Springer Spaniels so fucking horrendous to work with? I appreciate that they make great working dogs, and a lot of people say they make great pets but I haven't come across a single one in practice that doesn't behave like an utter froot loop - and the dogs always get aggressive. Why is that?!

Ah...

Believe it or not, 'tis a quiet night. Just one small dog in on a drip. Means I can get a shitload of paperwork done - which beats running around like a moron trying to do three things at once. And it means I'll get some sleep, too.

My friend Jaynie rang me earlier (*waves at Jaynie*). Trouble is, Heather the vet is on this weekend - which means that she's staying here and has the phones. (It's complicated.) But when Jaynie rang me at home Slay gave her the out of hours number because I hadn't got round to telling him not to ring it 'cos he wouldn't get me...

Heather has forgiven Jaynie and I for being asked about giving a budgie an enema...

Can't wait to get together with the girls again! Hanging out with the Lepp girls is the most fun I can have with my clothes on, I swear; we met on the road, and have stayed remarkably close. And I'm the youngest of the gang too, which makes me feel pretty good! Anyway, more on that when it happens. But I'm getting excited about it.

I fancy doing that 'twenty things' meme - but I'll upload this post first, because the works system (I'm such a slacker) turns into a pumpkin at midnight and if I lose another post I shall swear and swear.
